Whew!!! Never knew it can be so hard! I’m blazing right now. The average age that I’m using for this particular band is over 50 and they are acting like little boys. I’m trying to get them more work but I don’t feel secure enough to bring anyone important to see them. They have their little clicks like high school. I don’t want to be a asshole and let the ghetto come (which I’m not) but it seem like I have to to get my point across and keep everyone on the same page.
Anyway I’ll keep you updated(disappointed)
Yea this week I gave new tracks to Eve Soto and Grandma Leslyn. I’m getting close to finishing up Eve’s album. The music and production is out of this world. I can’t wait for everyone to listen to it. Just got to get inside and put our nose to the grindstone and grind it out.
Also I gave Grandma Leslyn some new material she starting to show me some serious skills in writing. I can’t wait to get some of the these new songs recorded. The new song we finished and have coming out is called “Run Away Love” it tremendous and awesome.
Today specifically Eve has one of her biggest shows of all she’s performing with Dougie Fresh and Mary J. Blige from what I was told.
I’m also looking to move to make my expenses cheaper so I can do more movement in promoting the projects I’m working on. I plan to set up 2 different kinds of meeting with many different decision makers. Publishing and distribution.
I need pictures for the promotion of the artist I working with. So I put on my photography hat for 2 days. I think the images came out awesome. I worked 2 full 8 hour days May 6 for Eve Soto’s flicks and May 7 for Livia Prescott’s flicks. Here’s just a taste from Eve’s keep in mind we have a lot of different feels.
We also had to take some pic’s for here readytosing.net teachers project.
Here’s a taste for the artist Livia Prescott
It’s all about improving skills as aphotographer as music producer, web designer, video director and video editor is all in the process getting better. I’m working hard to improve on all these points. I will put some behind the scenes video on the web. You can check it on my Youtube channel. As it stands I’m very excited for the future and get the name out of the the artist I’m working with.
Eve Soto at the Creative Music and Arts Festival at First Presbyterian Church Of Mount Vernon on June 29th 2009. We had a great time for a last second show. S.O.A.Q and Tre Dee of collective flow performed with Eve Soto and Ivy Soto. The energy was low until we took the stage we hyped the event up and we all had a great time. We also got re-booked for other shows after this.
