What's Up With Internet Radio?

What’s the best way to get your music played on internet radio? There are so many stations out there it’s mind boggling and hard to choose the one that’s right for you. Of course you should do your marketing-thing before you approach anyone one of them. But still to find the one that’s gonna give you love and help you reach all the fans you need to reach is another thing. To find a legit station and one that’s not out of your brother’s back room starting up only reaching two or three people is a task. Yea they’re fans, and hopefully won’t do to much harm except wasting your precious time.

I’m talking about those stations that will pay you publishing for your plays, those stations that will help you reach the widest audience worldwide and give you a chance to properly market and sell your product.

How do you find them?

Self-publishing is the way to go. Build up the artist worth and everyone will come to you instead of you begging all the time. I have the pleasure of working with some really great artist and all they need is a “in” somewhere. They have a great base and followers so it’s only a matter of time. So we go the route, first copyrighting, then Ascap, BMI, and Sesac.

I’m working on my own personal project called “The Joseph Postell Project”. It’s very alternative, it’s very electronica, it’s very I don’t care what anyone thinks as long as I feel it, it’s not for everyone.

I put a few of the track snippets on “Reverbnation” for free download and I will soon start promoting it on all my websites.

I’m gonna go to bed at 10:30pm to wake up at 3:40am. I want to see if this schedule helps me out with weight loss and generally feeling better.

I asked this question because I’m not sure anymore. Does the circumstance that you grew up in determine your current and life output? Meaning if you grow up around success will this make you want to be more successful? Or if you grow up having money will you strive to be rich yourself? Or if your mom and pop were lazy will you be lazy in your life?

They say I should get back into a relationship, but I do not know if I have the energy to make one last at this point. Most of my friends who are married are having an extremely hard time trying to make their relationships work. I’m personally am tired. Tired of bullshit relationships.

I want to be with my best friend where I can let my hair down and where I don’t have to put on a show or act a certain way to please them. I’m just me and I want whomever I’m with to accept that.

It’s 3:20 AM and I can’t get to sleep. I think I need more physical activities in my life so my body would be better for bed.

I keep thinking though that I’m very comfortable in my skin. But I do have to ask the question, have I’ve just got comfortable with my social situation? Which is none existent… Or do I not want to take that extra chance because I’m paranoid of what the results my be. It seems as if my risk taking is almost none existent and this is make my life feel as though nothing is happening or going to happen.

I have to ask, what makes a place look professional as oppose to non-professional? At the moment I want to make my studio look more professional for my clients. Any suggestions?
